I have never been big on self promotion, I have an easy time promoting others, but never really myself, but I also understand people would like to get to know the crafter. So here it goes.
I started on a whim, while helping a friend rebuild his basement I saw an old wood burning from Germany and thought to myself, I could do that. So I went to the local Wal-Mart and found a cheap, single temperature wood burning tool with interchangeable tips.
I downloaded some simple designs, grabbed some scrap wood and stared burning. After a few third degree burns, a ton of cursing, and a new appreciation of sand paper. I started to get good at it. Not great, at least in my eyes, but good.
Now fast forward 10 years and I work on wood, leather, horn, bone and more. My tools have also changed. No longer using the $15 Wal-Mart burner, I have an actual pyrography tool with interchangeable tips that allow me to do much more than when I started. All you have to do is look below and see for yourself.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and please have a look around.
I have recently started to carve horns, this means the design is engraved into the horn. This is a new development in my journey to create even more unique designs.
I will be posting designs as they are done. Some new and exciting things are coming for 2017.
